(CS) Following the official groundbreaking for construction of two buildings of the University of Luxembourg on March 15, the Fonds Belval has revealed an animated video touring the future campus.

The “Cité des Sciences” in Esch Belval will house the University of Luxembourg and combine the university's faculties, currently spread across different sites in Limpertsberg, Walferdange and Kirchberg, with some facilities already located in Belval.

Minister for Higher Education François Biltgen waved the flag to start construction of the House of Numbers and the House of Arts and Students, which cost a combined 80 million euros, last Friday.

As construction of the buildings, designed by Witry & Witry is set to last three years, the Fonds Belval, managing the “Cité des Sciences” project, has presented an animated video of what the site is set to look like once it is completed.
