Tale of trapped Dudelange fox ends well
(ADW) A fox was reported by local residents, to be in trapped on a wire fence in Dudelange and in distress on Sunday afternoon.
The local fire station was alerted but once at the scene, firefighters quickly realised the situation was more delicate than at first thought and the emergency veterinary service, "Groupe d'Intervention Vétérinaire" or GIV, was called.
Once the animal was freed, it was transported to the Dudelange wildlife sanctuary where it could be examined for injuries.
Luckily though the fox seemed uninjured and is reported to be doing well and due to be released into the wild once again, although no doubt a little wiser where metal fences are concerned.
