The (un)changing face of Avenue de la Liberté
Anyone who says Luxembourg is getting more congested should take a look at the capital some 30 years ago when the roads seemed just as busy, if not more.
This shot from Avenue de la Liberté, taken in 1982 shows scores of cars headed towards the train station.
The main difference is the disappearance of the Monopol store (on the right), which was rebuilt in 2009.
