Two drivers injured in head-on crash

Two drivers were extremely lucky to escape with light injures on Thursday morning, after two cars violently crashed head-on in central Luxembourg.

The incident occurred on a route between Heffingen and Godbrange in the area of Junglinster when a driver - travelling from Godbrange - is reported to have lost control of his car, and crashed head-on into an oncoming car.

The man, and the woman driving the second car, luckily escaped the accident with minor injuries but both vehicles had major damage and were reduced to wrecks.

Two ambulances arrived the scene and both victims were transported to hospital for complete check-ups.
