Hit musical Cats concludes the cream of the line-up at this year's Wiltz Festival, an open-air extravaganza in the north of Luxembourg.

The star-studded programme of concerts kicks off on June 27 with Ballet de Maribor's Zorba le Grec and ends with the new English version of Cats by Stanislav Mosa Brno City Theatre, from July 24-26.

The festival this year proves itself to be truly eclectic featuring classical singers such as tenor José Carrera (July 10) British vocal harmony group The Puppini Sisters (July 12), rumba flamenca group Seven Kings (the family of the Gipsy Kings on July 11) and French pop star Zaz (July 8).

Giuseppe Verdi features heavily in the programme, with two of his operas being performed. Nabucco, an opera in four acts, will be performed on July 3 and Rigoletto, an opera in three acts, on July 4.

Cats will not be the only English language musical to be preformed during the festival. Buddy Holly Show, That'll be the day will be a chance for fans to bop along to Buddy Holly's classic rock 'n' roll hits on July 7.

And, for those whose tastes are rooted in more recent hits, Stars in Concert, The Las Vegas Show, promises an eclectic mix of covers of songs by Freddie Mercury, Prince, Madonna and Tina Turner, among others.

2015 marks the 63rd edition of the Wiltz Festival, which is set within the idyllic grounds of Wiltz castle. The stage and seating area is covered so concerts go ahead regardless of weather conditions.
