Frankfurt airport's second day of strikes
Airline passengers travelling from Luxembourg to Frankfurt had to make alternative arrangements after a strike was extended.
Trouble began when German air traffic controllers extended their one-day strike from Thursday to Friday at 10pm, grounding all planes at Frankfurt Airport.
As a result, the Friday morning Luxair flight to Frankfurt was cancelled and some 120 passengers had to be transferred by bus or alternative flights, according to a Luxair spokesman.
All customers affected had been contacted and informed of the situation.
On Thursday only two flights between Luxembourg's Findel airport and Frankfurt took place.
