A 14-year-old teen on Thursday took his grandfather's car for a spin to pick up four friends, with drugs paraphernalia found in the vehicle by police, who stopped the youngsters on their ride.

(CS) A 14-year-old teen on Thursday took his grandfather's car for a spin to pick up four friends, with drugs paraphernalia found in the vehicle by police, who stopped the youngsters on their ride.

Police encountered the group at the Dudelange cemetery in Route de Bettembourg around 4pm, where they found six underage teenagers in a car, driven by the 14-year-old, who had taken his grandfather's spare keys.

A search of the car revealed a backpack containing drugs paraphernalia, although police did not reveal any further information about the nature of the utensils found.

The teenagers were taken to the police station, where they were picked up by their parents.
