Rockids becomes Luxembourg’s 2nd largest private manager of crèches and day care centres.
Luxembourg, 20 May 2022 - Rockids, the childcare specialist in Luxembourg, announces the acquisition of 6 new facilities from the company La Luciole, and thus becomes the 2nd largest company of its type in the country.
Rockids is a major provider, with recognised know-how in the care of young and older children, and a strong educational ethos based on caring, positive Montessori teaching methods.
With the acquisition of these 6 facilities from the La Luciole group, Rockids strengthens its presence in Luxembourg. It now has a total of 24 facilities – crèches and day-care centres – which can accommodate nearly 900 children aged 0 to 12 years.
La Luciole shares the same values and the same demand for quality. This family business has been in operation since 1997, and has a pedagogical approach in line with Rockids' values.
In this way, the group is demonstrating its strength and how it works to meet its ambitions. These 6 new structures – located in Schifflange, Kirchberg, Rollingergrund, Fentange and Limpertsberg – also allow the group to complete its territorial network throughout the country, bringing it even closer to its customers.
